Livestock SA is calling for nominations from members to fill three positions on its board.
Nominations for the three member elected director positions for leaders in the cattle, sheep and goat industries have opened.
Livestock SA chief executive officer Travis Tobin said the positions were open to any Livestock SA member passionate about the future of the livestock sector and committed to providing leadership on the issues that matter most to producers.
“The Livestock SA board plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of South Australia’s livestock industry,” he said.
“Strong industry leadership and governance are critical to ensuring the organisation continues to deliver value for members and these positions are about making sure every corner of the livestock industry has a say in how we navigate challenges and opportunities.
“Serving on the Livestock SA board is an opportunity to shape the policies, projects and advocacy that directly impact our state’s livestock producers, and the red meat and wool industries more broadly. Strong representation means strong advocacy and the board plays a central role in making sure producers are well-represented and well-positioned for the future.”
Results from the elections will be announced at the upcoming annual general meeting.
