Streaky Bay Tourism & Business Association AGM

Streaky Bay Tourism & Business Association will host its annual general meeting on Tuesday 13 January at 6.30pm in the Streaky Bay Hotel’s Mudge Room. This will be followed by a general meeting at 7pm. All members are welcome. For more information, contact tourism@streakybay.com.au.

Ceduna Foreshore Ceduna Cup

Celebrating 100 years of racing in Ceduna, head long and dress up for the Derby Day Fashion Theme in black and white and join Runway to the Races. Saturday 31 January at Ceduna Race Club from 11.30am. Great racing, great atmosphere, great food and live music after the races.

Men’s catch up

Our Town Kimba hosts a men’s catch up each Tuesday for morning coffee, toasties and a chat from 10am to 11.30am.

RSL bingo changes day

Cowell RSL Sub-Branch has changed its weekly bingo from Tuesday to Monday nights. It will still start with eyes down at 7pm. The cost is $15 for 10 games. Supper with tea and coffee is provided. The bar is also open.

Busyfingers Craft Group

Ceduna’s Busyfingers Craft Group meets at Ceduna Men’s Shed every Friday from 10.30am to 2pm and people are welcome to bring along any project they would like to. Members have a range of skills from quilting/patchwork, knitting, crocheting, card making, diamond dots, embroidery and more. A small fee of $3 is charged per week. Blue Water Raiders Dragon Boat Club

Come and join the group for a morning paddle in the beautiful calm waters of Tumby Bay. The dragon boaters meet every Sunday, weather permitting, at 7.45am, at the Tumby Bay marina boat ramp. No experience is necessary, with life jackets and paddles supplied. Enjoy a single paddle or become a new member.
