Elliston market hailed a success

Those attending the Christmas Elliston Art, Craft and Produce Market on Saturday 29 November enjoyed browning around about 30 different stalls.

Elliston Community and Information Centre’s Tayla Jones said marketgoers were treated to live music from The Mistys – talented local musicians Sophie and Matty Barkway.

“A huge thank you to all of our amazing stallholders who joined us at the Elliston markets,” Tayla said.

“Your creativity, passion and hard work are what make these events so special.”

She said the market was only possible due to “our incredible volunteers”.

“We truly couldn’t have done it without you,” she said.

“Your time, effort and support behind the scenes make everything run smoothly, and we are so grateful.

“Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. We’re already hoping to host another market around Easter.”

The market was held in the Elliston parklands, with baked goods, candles, fresh produce, pizza, plants and more.

Local op shop Elliston Coast Finds had a pop up stall of both pre-loved and unworn clothing and accessories and the Elliston branch of the SACWA sold milkshakes, scones and more.
