Dirt circuit racing

Ceduna Dirt Circuit Club is back for another night of high-octane action at Andoc Park, on Denial Bay Road, on Saturday 22 November. This is the Glen Bates Memorial Race. Gates open at 4pm and racing starts at 7pm. Full bar and canteen facilities available. Entry is $10 for adults, and kids under 16 get in free.

Nurses lunch

The next lunch for retired and semi-retired nursing staff from Port Lincoln Health Service will be held on Monday 24 November at noon at the Marina Hotel. This will be the last one for the year, so organisers look forward to seeing many people there. RSVP to Shirlene on 0429 056 140 by Friday 21 November for booking.

Camera club meeting

Port Lincoln Camera Club will hold its monthly meeting on Monday 24 November at the Senior Citizens Hall at 7pm. Please note the last meeting for the year will be on Monday 15 December. A reminder to all members the EPCCA is fast approaching, so begin organising your photos now. For any further information please refer online to ‘My Photo Club’ or the Port Lincoln Camera Club Facebook page. The club welcomes new members.

Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club Happy Chat

Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club’s Happy Chat will be at the Port Lincoln Hotel on Tuesday 25 November at 10am. Please wear a hat to be in the racing theme for November.

Table of Hope launch

Tumby Bay Anglican Church is hosting the launch/blessing and opening of the Table of Hope, which incorporates the Blue Mental Awareness information and support together with the Purple Domestic Violence Victims info and support. It will be hosted on Tuesday 25 November at 10.30am and will be followed by homemade morning tea to be enjoyed by all.

Parkinson’s group meeting

The Eyre Peninsula Parkinson’s Support Group is holding its next meeting in the form of a Christmas lunch at the Wheatsheaf Hotel at North Shields, at noon on Tuesday 25 November. Members, friends and families are very welcome to come along.

Christmas Tree Festival

Our Saviours’ Lutheran Church Port Lincoln is holding its Christmas Tree Festival at Flinders Highway, Port Lincoln. People are welcome to come along on Friday 28 November from 10am to 2pm, Saturday 29 November from 10am to 6pm and Sunday 30 November from 1pm to 4pm, with various stalls to be present including bric-a-brac, with refreshments. Entry is a gold coin donation, with everyone welcome.

Elliston Markets

Come along for a fun-filled day at the Elliston Markets on Saturday 29 November at the Elliston Parklands. Enjoy a great range of stalls offering unique goods, delicious food, refreshing cocktails, music and plenty of good vibes. It is the perfect chance to find that special Christmas gift and enjoy a great day out with family and friends. Arno Bay Christmas Craft Fair

The Arno Bay Christmas Craft Fair is on Saturday 29 November at Turnbull Park from 9am to 2pm. There will be a variety of stalls such as baked goods, handmade crafts, plants, Christmas present ideas, CFS display, coffee van and more. For more information contact Trish Darling on 0429 420 115.

Carols by the Foreshore

Come along to the Port Lincoln foreshore for Carols by the Foreshore, a free community event, on Saturday 29 November. Pre-entertainment starts at 4pm, with carols from 5.30pm to 8pm. Bring your picnic rug, chairs, family and friends.

Streaky Bay Markets

Head along to the Streaky Bay Institute on Sunday 30 November from 10am to 2pm for the Streaky Bay Markets. You will be able to find a range of items, including handcrafted goods, unique items and treasures. Also enjoy the food and drink on offer.

Ceduna Christmas Market

Prostate Cancer Support Group meeting

A discussion forum on prostate cancer will be held on Friday 5 December, from 5pm to 7pm at Port Lincoln’s Grand Tasman Hotel meeting room. In attendance will be prostate cancer specialist nurse Janet Birkin. For further information, contact Ross Sharrad on 0439 282 242.

Cummins Christmas Markets

The 2025 Cummins Christmas Markets will take place on Sunday 7 December at the RSL Hall from 10am to 3pm. Come along to find gifts, crafts, smallgoods, baking and more. Email cdec@lec.sa.gov.au to register. Also open will be the Christmas Wonderland, Op Shop, Green Leaf Collective and 5 Loaves Bakery.

Cleve auxiliary meeting

Cleve District Hospital Auxiliary’s Christmas meeting and get-together is on Tuesday 9 December at Workshop26 in Kimba. Meet at 9am at Cleve Hospital for transport to Kimba. RSVP is essential, to Kelly on 0409 177 562.

Ceduna Hospital and Village Auxiliary Christmas Raffle

Tickets for the Ceduna Hospital and Village Auxiliary Christmas Raffle are on sale and can be purchased from auxiliary members and at different business locations around Ceduna. Tickets are $2 each. First prize is $250, second prize is $150 and third prize is $100. The raffle will be drawn on Friday 12 December at the cake/produce stall out the front of the Ceduna Memorial Hall.

Chandada 100th Christmas Tree

Chandada Memorial Hall will host a milestone Christmas Tree celebration, on Sunday 14 December from 4pm until late. All past and present families and friends of the Chandada community are invited to join in celebrating this historic event. The evening will include a community performance, Santa visit, full bar facilities, dinner (cost by donation), stalls, raffles, photo booth and more. Carols by the Beach

Tumby Bay’s Carols by the Beach will take place on Sunday 14 December. There will be food stalls and kids’ pre-carols entertainment from 5pm, with carols starting at 6pm. All are welcome to enjoy an evening by the beach, on the Tumby Bay foreshore lawns, adjacent to the yacht club.

Family Fish Day

Head along to the Streaky Bay jetty on Saturday 3 January 2026 for the annual Family Fish Day event. Registration is from 8am, with the fishing competition from 9am to 11am – scaled fish only. Cash prizes and trophies for anglers aged three to 17. This free community event is hosted by Streaky Bay Tourism and Business Association – for more information, contact tourism@streakybay.com.au.

Smoky Bay fete
