Cleve carols were shifted from the Lions Park to Pioneer Memorial Hall again this year due to the weather on Sunday.

In contrast to 2023 when heavy rains flooded some district roads, this year the temperature was still 35 degrees Celsius, and the carols were moved indoors for a more comfortable event.

Cleve Melody Singers performed three songs during the carols service, accompanied by Bronwyn Smith.

Cleve Anglican Church’s Reverend Hellena Thom led the service and Deborah Burton played the piano for the community carols.

A group of Cleve children acted out a nativity story in front of about 80 people.
