President Jenny Skinner welcomed seven members, with three apologies from Shirley Mahar, Rita Carey and Amanda Hoffrichter.

After the creed was recited, the branch decided to run a raffle – a ‘no bake stall’ – in March, which will take place on Tuesday, March 19.

Proceeds will go to the Far Western Group SACWA.

Pauline Price was thrilled to have her SACWA badge pinned on her by Jenny.

Judy Gregory and Kate Nash judged the competitions, with Claire Collins and Kath Dunn on 10 points in the bloom competition, ahead of Elaine Kloock on nine.

Claire Collins had the most outstanding handicraft entry, with Kath and Elaine both finishing on 10 points.

The Ceduna branch joined the Streaky Bay branch as Wirrulla Hotel in December for its Christmas party and it was an enjoyable day had by all members present.

The branch’s members and partners, plus friends, met at the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel for a late Christmas lunch, which was held in January – it was a great day of caring, sharing and fellowship together.

Jenny received her birthday chocolate from Claire.

The March meeting will be held in the Anglican Church Hall on Tuesday, March 12 at 1.30pm – all are invited to attend.

Members are reminded to please bring items for the raffle.
