Crowd turns out for breakfast

A crowd of 120 people flocked to Cowell for the annual Australia Day breakfast last month.

Breakfast was supplied by Franklin Harbour District Council and cooked by Cowell Lions Club.

Deputy mayor Rachel Deer took charge of the presentations, assisted by councillor Terry Rehn, as mayor Robert Walsh did not attend due to Covid.

The 2024 Citizen of the Year award was presented to Tracy Mills and the Young Citizen of the Year to Imogen Jaeschke.
