Countdown is on for Tumby Bay pageant

The Lions Club of Tumby Bay and District is putting the finishing touches to the annual Christmas pageant and is inviting all to get involved and celebrate Christmas.

The club would like to do a big shout out to all business, sporting clubs, associations and individuals to join in the 2025 Lions Club of Tumby Bay and District’s annual Christmas Pageant Parade on Friday 19 December.

“Last year was a huge success and Lions is looking to make 2025 an even bigger event,” Lions club president, David Pearson said.

This is a chance for the community to be part of the Tumby tradition and celebrate the festive season together.

Whether you have a vintage car, a push bike, a shiny trumpet, or even a trusty pony – polish it up, put on some new shoes, and join in on the fun.

Everyone is welcome to add their special touch to the parade, so start gathering your mates and get your group organised for a memorable afternoon in Tumby Bay.

All local businesses, clubs and associations are encouraged to enter a float or group in the parade.

Individuals are welcome to join in with decorated bikes, classic cars, musical instruments or costumed pets.

If you are keen to join or need more details, give Wilbur Williams a call on 0488 387 652.

Santa will be arriving in Tumby Bay as part of the parade, so make sure the kids are ready.

Start working on your Christmas wishlist and keep an eye out for Santa’s float during the celebration.

The Lions Club of Tumby Bay and District welcomes all to join in and make this year’s pageant the biggest and best yet.

Share the news with family, friends, and neighbours – everyone is invited to be part of the excitement and festive cheer.

Mark your calendars for 19 December and stay tuned for further details.

The club is excited to see everyone in or at the parade, making memories and celebrating together.
