Bird club outing

The Wudinna Showgrounds welcomes a massive day on Saturday, September 13 with horses in action, local craft and pavilion entries, shearing and poultry, as well as plenty of activities for kids, market stalls and live music.
Dance night
Port Lincoln Social Dance will host a night of dancing at the North Shields Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 13 from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Come and experience all styles of dance – new vogue, Latin, rock n’ roll and country dancing with DJ music. There will be a shared country supper and family fun for all, plus a lucky door prize. Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club’s monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16 at Kirton Bowling Club at 10am.
Arno Bay line dancing
Tumby Bay and Wudinna line dancers will bring their boots to Arno Bay War Memorial Hall on Tuesday, September 16 from 10am to noon. Visitors are welcome and a shared morning tea will be had for $5 per person, with proceeds going to the hall. Please bring along a plate if you are so inclined. Visitors are welcome to join in or simply enjoy the music and dancing.
Kimba AH&F Show
With plenty of pavilion sections, machinery displays, market stalls and kids’ activities, you cannot go wrong with having a day out at the Kimba Show on Saturday, September 20. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club will meet for Coffee and Chat at the Port Lincoln Hotel at 10am on Tuesday, September 23, greeting spring with a bright and colourful theme.

Port Lincoln Ladies Probus Club will meet for the fifth Tuesday on September 30 at Puckridge Park for a picnic lunch at 11am. Bring your own lunch and hot or cold drinks.
Ceduna Oysterfest
Ceduna Oysterfest is a two-day feast celebrating the West Coast’s famous oysters, plus so much more, on the Ceduna foreshore, on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5. Entertainment, live music, kids’ activities and a fireworks display are highlights of the weekend.
Hall celebration
Port Neill War Memorial Hall is turning 100 and to mark the occasion there will be an open day on Sunday, October 5 from 10am to 4pm. Pop in for a look at the photo displays or stay for the day and catch up with friends. There will be morning and afternoon tea, plus a sausage sizzle for lunch. A Taste of the Bay

Port Kenny time capsule
The Port Kenny time capsule laid in 1988 will be opened at a special community gathering on Sunday, October 5 at the Port Kenny and District’s Sports Centre, uncovering memories and mementos from the past. The event will run from noon until late – everyone is welcome, with lunch and dinner available to buy. EFTPOS and bar facilities will be available. The time capsule will be opened at 2.30pm. Border Dash

Streaky Bay will host the bulls, broncs and barrels once again at the popular Rodeo by the Sea event on Saturday, October 18 at Streaky Bay Racecourse. CarnEVIL
Gardner’s Vineyard at North Shields will host the Halloween-themed CarnEVIL on Friday, October 31. Gates will open at 3pm for the Candy and Clowns Kidzone and Freaky Funhouse Marquee Maze, with a kids costume competition at 5.30pm. From 8pm the scares intensify with an R18+ late-night horror maze experience running until late. All funds raised will support Ronald McDonald House.
