Seniors learn about gypsum operation

The latest gathering of Ceduna Seniors Club included an annual general meeting and informative guest speaker.

The meeting started with a short AGM, after which Paul Warmington from Gypsum Resources Australia gave an excellent presentation on the company’s 100 years’ celebration.

The next meeting, on Friday, July 25, will be somewhat different, with a tour of Ceduna Area School and a pooled lunch, followed by a visit to Ceduna School Community Library.

Members are asked to bring a plate of food to share and be at the school front office by 11.45am as the tour commences at noon.

Lunch will follow at 1pm.

If you plan to attend please let Bobbie Bennett know on 0427 252 752 or put a message on the Facebook page to provide an idea of numbers.

Members are also reminded that the yearly fee of $20 is due.

Everyone is welcome to attend the next event.
