It was a wonderful afternoon in Tumby Bay as 70 children and their families enjoyed a journey through ‘The Very First Christmas’.

Tumby Interchurch Council ran the event on Sunday, November 10, with seven different stops for children telling the Christmas account.

From the angel visiting Mary to the Three Wise Men visiting Jesus there were many crafts, displays, activities and goodies to delight.

Whether eating yummy star biscuits, doing a fun obstacle course, dressing up for a photo booth, creating a variety of Christmas crafts or getting your face painted, there was plenty to do, eat, enjoy and see.

It was a great way to kick off the Christmas season and mingle with people whether locals or community from Cleve, Port Lincoln, Ungarra and surrounds.

Children had a fun, memorable and lovely outing and went home with bulging bags.
