
Musical performances and community carol singing traditions dating back decades drew about 80 people to Carols by the Sea at Arno Bay on Sunday evening.
A number of Christmas songs written to include Australian icons were popular favorites – especially with those that attend the event each year.
Young singing students Anabelle Ramsey and Stella Boothby performed a couple of songs, as did the five Llewelyn sisters and Cleve Melody Singers.
Roger Lienert was joined by granddaughter Alice Lienert while playing guitar and singing.
Peter Wright spoke of the historical evidence in the Bible relating to the birth of Jesus, while his wife Desleigh told the Christmas story to children, with the use of props.
